Job description


The Sales Consultant – Nonprofit is responsible for pursuing new prospects and selling TriNet’s line of premium benefits, payroll, and HR services. The primary targeted markets comprise companies with 10-200 employees within the nonprofit industry sector. The Sales Consultant in the nonprofit industry is also responsible for or meeting TriNet’s yearly sales quota of Worksite Employees (WSE) by identifying, prospecting, presenting, proposing and closing our PEO services to C- level executives of small to mid-sized business (SMBs).



About the Position:

Additionally, the Sales Consultant – Nonprofit works with these business owners and their leaders to help them contain costs, simplify administration, and minimize employer-related risk while providing excellent service to their employees by moving them to a consolidated HR model.

The Sales Consultant demonstrates a thorough understanding of TriNet’s value proposition and has the ability to quantify this benefit for clients. S/he writes proposals, gains appropriate approvals, and presents those proposals to prospective clients. Finally, the Sales Consultant utilizes data to position products and enable customers to understand how TriNet’s products and services will impact their own P&L.



Job Role:

Heavy focus on research; finding and developing perspectives through networks, referrals, cold calls, business development through support organizations, direct sales, COIs (impact centers) etc.


Responsible for using consultative sales and setting up a trusted advisor relationship to determine perspective needs, raising awareness of needs, and incorporating prospects in determining how skills, products and services impact P & L and the ability to to efficiently manage their organization.


Using the TriNet training, tools and technology, Sales Consultant takes on the responsibility of providing new customers.


Responsible for the simultaneous movement of a number of perspectives through the sequential phases of the sales process: the initial meeting of the meeting, requests for data collection of proposals, comparison of benefits, technology demonstration, presentation of the proposal, to be closed.


Achieve sales and measurement quotas to push business opportunities.

Complete all the tasks and administrative tasks in a timely manner.

Projects and other responsibilities can be added to the manager's discretion.


Experience


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : TriNet California Hiring freshers 2017


    Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in consultative sales.

    Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience required.

    Previous experience with developing own leads and prospecting for brand new business.

    Prior experience selling in one of the following industries: SaaS, HRO, BPO.

    Human Capital Management industry experience a plus.

    Education — Bachelor’s degree preferred, however an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

    Previous nonprofit experience. Should have sold to or worked at a nonprofit organization.

    Experience making NFP connections in local market.
