The Commissionerate of School Education (CSE), Andhra Pradesh has released the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) notification.

The Commissionerate of School Education (CSE), Andhra Pradesh has released the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) notification. According to the APTET schedule, the exams will be held from January 17, 2018 to January 27, 2018 'online'.
Registration for APTET will begin on December 18, 2017. Registration will take place on the CSE official website, cse.ap.gov.in. APTET-December 2017 is carried out by the Ministry of Education of Andhra Pradesh Government through Computer Based Testing from 13 provinces of the State. The goal is to meet the National Education Standards and the quality of teachers' qualifications in accordance with the National Education Standards.

APTET payment start date: December 18, 2017
APTET application process start date: December 18, 2017
APTET payment end date: December 31, 2017
APTET Application end date: January 1, 2018

APTET 2017: Eligibility


Applicants applying for APTET must have the minimum qualifications required for the teacher in the V-Class (Paper-I) and VI-VIII grades (Paper-II) as December 2017, as shown in the Bulletin. In 2016-2017 academic year, APTET may also be nominated candidates for the last year of Teacher Training courses for teachers recognized by the NCTE or RCI in 2017.


However, the APTET statement or a transitional form in the notification does not assume any right of the candidate to be appointed for the appointment of a teacher in the Government and, in the manner prescribed by the relevant regulations established by the State Directorate in ZillaParishad / Mandal Parishad / Municipal and Private Assistance Schools unless they have the qualifications required for appointment to the post until the date stipulated by the management.

APTET 2017 Syllabus


All the APTET questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying One Mark, with four alternatives out of which One Answer will be correct. There will be no Negative Marking in APTET.

There will be Two Papers for the TET Paper-I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for Classes I to V, Paper-II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for Classes VI to VIII. A person who intends to be a Teacher either for Classes I to V or for Classes VI to VIII shall have to appear in both Papers (Paper I and Paper II).
