Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has uploaded the Indian Forest Service (IFS) main examination admit card on the official website of the public sector recruiter.

The Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) has admit card 2017 for Indian Forest Service (IFS) exam had made available at official website The main UPSC IFS exam is scheduled to be held in December this year. The IFS exam consists of two successive phases; Examination of Civil Services (preliminary) (objective type) for the selection of candidates for the Examination of the Indian Forest Service (Main); and (ii) Indian Forest Service Exam (Main) (Written and Interview) for the selection of candidates for the Indian Forest Service. UPSC declared preliminary results in July this year.

The candidates who are declared by the Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) to be qualified for their admission to the Indian Forest Service (IFS) - Main will request that they be applied again in the online detailed request form that would be available on the Commission's website after the Declaration of Results of Preliminary exam.

The UPSC IFS main examination will be held on the following Centres : Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Dispur (Guwahati), Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Nagpur, Port Blair and Shimla.

The number of vacancies to be filled on the results of the examination is expected to be approximately 110.

UPSC IFS Main Admit Card: Important points to remember

Check the e-Admit Card carefully and bring discrepancies, if any, to the notice of UPSC immediately.

Bring this e-Admit Card (Print out) in each session to secure admission to Examination Hall. e-Admit Card may be preserved till the declaration of written result .

The candidate is responsible for the safe custody of the e-Admit card and, in the event that another person uses this e-Admit card, he has the responsibility to prove that he has not used the service of any imitator.

The candidate must enter the Exam Room 20 minutes before the scheduled start of the exam.

The scientific calculator is used (not programmable) and, if deemed necessary, can be submitted by the candidates. Programmable type calculators are not allowed in this exam.

The possession / use of mobile phones and other electronic devices / communication is prohibited in the examination facilities.

For conventional work (type of essay), a candidate should note that they should respond strictly to all parties and sub-parts of a question in the Cum question booklet (QCA) in the space provided in each question in the book (QCA).

Candidates who do not have clear photographs on the e-admission card will have to bring a photographic proof of identity, viz. Adhar Card, driving license, passport, voter I, etc. and two passport size photographs, one for each session to participate in the exam with a company.
